Christmas 2024. Forno Follador’s leavened creations for the first time at Galeries Lafayette in Paris
A good artisanal leavened product is recognized by the choice of ingredients, and this is especially true for Panettone, a pastry masterpiece that celebrates Italian gastronomic tradition.
Sourdough starter, selected flours for great texture, butter, premium large-berry Sun Muscat raisins, and candied orange and citron are the basis of the recipe signed by master baker Antonio Follador for this iconic cake which, for the first time for Christmas 2024, is being presented at Galeries Lafayette Le Gourmet in Paris, offering an authentic Italian Christmas experience to French and international customers who can choose from five different Panettone flavors: in addition to the Traditional one, also Mocha and Almond, Pistachio, Glacé and Mandarin, and Gianduia. From mid-November, the leavened creations from the 2024 Forno Follador collection are on sale in the famous luxury department store, on the ground floor, inside the Boutiques Mavrommatis corner.
“It is a great honor for us to be ambassadors of Italian culinary tradition and to export one of the most important symbols of Made in Italy to Paris: Panettone. This leavened cake preserves the entire essence of the atmosphere of Christmas Eve dinner or Christmas lunch in Italy, expressed through moments like the slicing of this sweet centerpiece of the holiday table. Every bite contains the soul of the artisans who work the dough, follow the leavening process, and carefully monitor every stage of production, creating cakes with an unmistakable aroma and flavor,” comments Antonio Follador.
