Forno Follador awarded the “Io Sono Friuli Venezia Giulia” mark

Forno Follador has obtained the “Io Sono Friuli Venezia Giulia” recognition promoted by the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region, which highlights businesses committed to environmental, economic, and social sustainability and certifies the origin of regional agri-food products.
Born from the evolution of the #iocomproFVG initiative launched during the lockdown, the brand identifies entities that contribute to the region's growth. The system includes a gold brand, awarded to companies, and a blue brand, reserved for products from traceable and verifiable supply chains.

Forno Follador has received the golden mark “Io Sono Friuli Venezia Giulia” for its commitment to environmental, social, and governance sustainability. In addition, the blue mark was awarded to two products that represent the link with the territory and its raw materials: the Pagnotta Gentile and the Triticum Spelta Bio in loaf and table formats.

The 2 kg Pagnotta Gentile, with its delicate aroma, balanced taste, and soft texture, is made with spelt and type 1 flours and enriched with liquid sourdough starter. Triticum Spelta Bio, on the other hand, is made from organic spelt of Friulian origin. Long fermentation gives the bread a slight sweet note, while the crunchy crust and moist, porous crumb make it versatile and long-lasting.

“The ‘Io Sono FVG’ mark recognizes much more than a product: it values the daily work we do together with our collaborators and supply chain partners, and the deep bond that unites us to the territory. We have always believed that quality comes from knowledge of raw materials, transparency of processes, and an authentic relationship with the community in which we live. For this reason, we are particularly proud to see both the path we have taken and products like Pagnotta Gentile and Triticum Spelta Bio recognized, as they tell the story of our idea of bread and our strong bond with Friuli Venezia Giulia,” comments Antonio Follador.
