Forno Follador at pordenonelegge 2024
From September 18 to 22, pordenonelegge returns. It is the most anticipated and important book festival in Friuli Venezia-Giulia, and Forno Follador—a family business founded in Pordenone in 1968 and winner of the Tre Pani award in Gambero Rosso's Pane & Panettieri d'Italia 2025 guide—confirms its support for the festival, which celebrates its 25th edition this year with a program of over 300 events, 59 previews, and 600 guests.
“We have been partners of Pordenonelegge for years, which is now a leading literary festival in Italy, and we are proud to work with the Book Festival organization, choosing books and authors to promote together. Our goal is to help enhance the local area and the food & beverage sector. We waited for such an important event for our city to present our project in collaboration with '1895 Coffee Designers by Lavazza' to the public—a collection of specialty coffees designed to offer a complete gastronomic experience, starting from bakery products and ending with a supply-chain coffee. Everything in the name of quality”, comments Antonio Follador.
Events promoted by Forno Follador
During the festival, Forno Follador supports two events within the pordenonelegge calendar. It starts on Saturday, September 21 (3:00 PM, at the Biblioteca Civica, Sala Incontri – Teresina Degan) with the presentation of the book “Il senso buono”, the latest work by Anna Prandoni, journalist and director of “Linkiesta Gastronomika”, who will be on stage with Tommaso Venturini, stakeholder engagement expert and owner of Stilla in Verona. The second event is scheduled for Sunday, September 22 (3:00 PM, at the Ex Convento di San Francesco) and is dedicated to the book “La nuova cucina regionale” by Roberto Carcangiu: 528 pages in which every region of Italy is interpreted in a gourmet key with original recipes.
