Forno Follador Reconfirmed Among Italian Excellence: Gambero Rosso’s Tre Pani 2026 Award Arrives

Once again this year, Forno Follador earns the highest recognition in the Gambero Rosso Bread and Bakers of Italy 2026 Guide, receiving the Tre Pani Award for the third consecutive year, granted only to the finest examples of Italian bread-making.

Among the reasons highlighted by Gambero Rosso are the ability to combine tradition and innovation, an authentic connection to the territory, and an entrepreneurial vision open to experimentation, supported by a young and skilled team. Gambero Rosso emphasized an offering that spans the entire day: from toast made with Pan Cappello Dodici Bio using "whole" flours and mountain grains, to croissants with savory fillings; from traditional breads like Friulano or Siciliano, to rolls designed to enhance any filling, to pizza bases and focaccias to reheat at home or enjoy on the spot. Special mention was given to the festive leavened specialties, including the apricot Venexiana, considered a true delicacy.

"Receiving the Tre Pani again is a great satisfaction and a responsibility: it means we are on the right path, with passion and consistency. With our team, we continue to put our customers at the center, offering them artisanal products that authentically tell who we are. Today Forno Follador is an organized and growing business, but our approach doesn't change: making good bread, every day, with respect and care. Behind every achievement of ours, in fact, there is a collective commitment made of study, trials, and great dedication. Carrying forward the work started by my father, together with my son Lorenzo, means combining past and present, staying true to the values of the artisan, but with a careful eye on the future of our craft. This award is an encouragement to never stop evolving," commented Antonio Follador.
